Q: What made you start your bookstagram?

A: My friend told me about these Instagram pages that had photos of books when I first got Instagram last year and I started following a few. Then I realised there was a whole community of people on Instagram that loved books as much as I do. From there I decided to start my own bookstagram and here I am 😊

My response: I am so glad you joined the community Jem you are such a kind person and have great energy!

Q: Since starting what has come to be your favourite thing about bookstagram?

A: I love all the people I have met and the conversations I have had with them all about books and other things in life. I also love all of the many book recommendations I get from everyone.

My Response: The connection and conversations are one of my favourite things too! Some people I have never met are some of the most supportive in my life! ❤

Q: What book, series or author started your obsession with reading and all things bookish?

A: I think I would have to say Harry Potter, it is one of my earliest memories of reading and is one of my favourite series.

My response: Ah yes such a magical series so important to so many of our community!

Q: I love TV and movies do you have any recommendations?

A: Ooooh there are so many that I love, some of the TV shows I currently love are Supernatural, Lucifer, Brooklyn 99 and Arrow. As for movies there is also many of them haha I love a good action and adventure movie though like Die Hard and Indiana Jones.

My response: I live for supernatural and Lucifer!! Some of my most favourite characters are from these shows!!

Q: Who is your favourite character bookish or non-bookish?

A: I don’t like trying to pick one favourite thing as I have so many favourites haha my favourite from Harry Potter though is Luna Lovegood and from Throne of Glass my favourites are Aelin and Manon. I could talk forever about some of my favourite characters.

My response: I know I am evil it is so hard to pick just one, I adore Luna and Manon as well such awesome unique characters.

Q: What is your biggest bookish pet peeve? Why?

A: I think my biggest bookish pet peeve is when books aren’t the same height in a series. I like to have a series all the same height as it is satisfying to look at.

My response: This is actually the devils work I am sure of it! haha

Q: To finish off what is your most anticipated upcoming release?

A: I think my most anticipated upcoming release is Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff. I am super excited to see how the series ends.

My response: Well this goes to show how slack I have been with this little series on my blog! So sorry it took so long Jem! I hope you loved this one and it didn’t destroy you to much. I am still yet to get to it! Let's Chat!

Thank you all for stopping by and I hope you show Jem some love! Start a discussion in the comments below and tell me what your answers would be to some of these! Until next time happy watching and reading!

November wrap up

Wrap up

Reading:

This month was a very slow reading month for me! I have been slumping hard and have been lacking the motivation to read, I hope it changes soon! 😦 As I read a dismal 1.5 books this month!

  • It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover. This is an adult contemporary  book. This book was very emotional and sparked my discussion about trigger warnings. My rating is 4/5.
  • Lisette’s pairs Notebook by Catherine Bateson. This is a YA contemporary, I am currently only about half way through. I actually won this book as a part of a prize pack from Allen and Unwin Australia. It is pretty cutesie so far about a 3/5.

Watching:

So my reading may have been dismal this month but thanks to that I had a really good watching month. I managed to watch quite a few different things and I really enjoyed them all! 🙂

Movies:

  • The Christmas Chronicles. Yes I have started watching Christmas movies already. And you know what? I loved this one! A solid 5/5.

Blog:

I am pretty pleased with what I managed to get out on the blog during November. Mostly because of my discussion post. I don’t know why but I don’t come up with discussion posts easily and sometimes when I do I think maybe no one else will find them interesting. But I was really happy with how this one turned out and the discussion it started!

I am still busy planning my wedding! We are less than 3 months out now so everything is getting down to the fine details and I am very excited and anxious for everything to go right.  We finally sent out the invitations and now I am just stressfully running around trying to make sure I don’t forget anything!  Work has also been pretty stressful lately as we have been low on staff. But on the up side we will have new staff to help out in the new year and I got my first ever promotion!! Look at me being and adult and stuff! 🙂

How did I go on my goals for November:

  • Read at least 4 books.  HAHA what a absolute fail! Fingers crossed for better luck in December!
  • Post on my blog at least 4-6 times. – So I might not have reached the amount of posts I wanted to but I am actually pretty proud of the content so I would call that a win!
  • Finalise all things wedding related. – Again not everything is done but we have been making heaps of progress lately so another win!
  • Reach out/ get involved with more publishers/ companies I love. (not sure how realistic or how I will go about this! But we shall see!) – I have recently been given some amazing advice and support from some amazing bookstagram friends in the whole working with publishers and putting yourself out there thing. So I am excited to try to put it into action and see where it goes!
  • Comment more on other blogs/ bookstagram & interact more in general. – I have definitely worked really hard on this one! So goal completed but it is something I intend to keep up!
  • Drink more water/ eat healthier!  – Like always I tried and failed haha there is always December right?
  • Try to stress less and relax more. – HAHA with the wedding and work I think not!

Review: Heir of Fire by Sarah J Maas

20617636Title: Heir of Fire

Author: Sarah J Maas

Genre: YA fantasy

Publisher: Bloomsbury

Publication date: September 2014

Rating: 5/5

Warning the synopsis contains spoilers if you have not read the previous books in this series! Read at your own risk!

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Consumed by guilt and rage, Celaena can’t bring herself to spill blood for the King of Adarlan. She must fight back…

The Immortal Queen will help her destroy the king – for a price. But as Celaena battles with her darkest memories and her heart breaks for a love that could never last, can she fulfil the bargain and head the almighty court of Terrasen? And who will stand with her?

Review2

Continuing on with my reread in preparation for Kingdom of Ash was one of my favourites from this series, Heir of Fire. If you missed them I also reviewed Assassins Blade, Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight.

If I was going to give the most basic review of this book without my usual rambling I would simply say: Amazing new characters are introduced! CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!! Character development everywhere!!

But what fun would one of my reviews be without my rambling, fangirling nonsense? Not very fun at all! So, buckle up kids and grab a snack why we both try to sort through all my feelings about this brilliant book!

This book is one of my favourites of the entire series so far. One of the biggest contributing factors to this is the new characters that are introduced! Firstly Manon Blackbeak and we might as well throw in the whole 13! I absolutely loved Manon from the first moment she was introduced to me and upon rereading my love for her has only grown! She is beautiful and fierce and skilled. But she also isn’t perfect and has a lot of growing and developing to do. I believe little bits of this growth starts to occur in this book. The second character introduced in this book that I love is Rowan. Hot, skilled, tattooed fae male! Must I say anymore? Can he be an Ass? Yes! Does he also grow a shit tone throughout the story? Also yes! Honourable mention goes to Aedion as I don’t mind him in this book but I know he grows on me a hell of a lot in the next book!

I think this book takes the series in a new and exciting direction. We gain so much information about the world, certain characters pasts, the king and his plans. Is it a lot of information to take in? Yes, but I believe it is done in such a way, evenly throughout the book, that it only made me enjoy the reading experience more while getting excited about where the story could go from here.

I can’t really touch on the character development side of things more than I already have without spoilers. However, I will say almost every main character goes through events that allows us to learn more about them and for them to learn more about themselves. There are also many interactions between the main characters that play a part in the way they grow or go backwards. And we see how their personalities and wants etc change over time. I love this and especially like the journey Celaena goes through. Her development is by far my favourite of the book.

Lastly the other reason I adore this book is for the spectrum of feelings it forces me to go through and feel. Every time I read it. This book is all the feelings! ALL OF THEM! From heart ache to joy, despair, anger, love, triumph, surprises, shocks and everything in between! Basically, be prepared for an emotional roller coaster! Who am I kidding? You can not be prepared. Just feel it all, it’s easier that way! Haha!

In conclusion I love pretty much everything about this book! The characters, the plot, the feelings it’s all great. I really don’t think I can fault it. Other than for me personally Chaol’s chapters are a little boring. So, since I am pretty much grasping at straws for things I don’t like and overwhelmed by the things I loved this book is a 5/5 read for me! Let's Chat! What did you think of this book? Who is your favourite character in it? What is your favourite Maas book? Let’s chat in the comments below! As always, happy watching and reading!

The Netflix Book Tag

Hello again beautiful people! What have we all been up to? What are you reading watching? Today I bring you another tag. This one however speaks to my soul!! As next to reading my favourite hobby is watching TV/Movies hence the blog. So this is the Netflix book tag. I am not sure of the original creator but I was tagged by Lexie at Reading in the wings. So let’s grab some popcorn and some cozy blankets and get started! divider 1

Recently Watched: The last book you finished reading.

Well it’s only a novella not a full book but A court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas. You can see my review here if you’re interested. 🙂

Image result for acofas cover

Top Picks: A book that has been recommended to you based on books you have previously read.

Being a big fantasy reader and YA reader many of the books I read are recommended in the way they are grouped together at the book store. Or because I follow a lot of readers who also read fantasy if I see them talking about a book and they have liked books I have loved then I usually will give it a go. So I can’t really pick just one!

Recently Added: The last book you bought.

Image result for red rising cover
2 I have read:
  • The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
  • Nevernight By Jay Kristoff

2 I am yet to read:

  • Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. (I do mean to read this I know it’s going to be great I just am not ready to let go of those characters yet).
  • Lord Of Shadows by Cassandra Clare. I own this, it just took me so long to get through Lady Midnight. I am just not sure if I want to continue.

Dramas: A character who is a drama queen/king.

This tag is quickly revealing how much I am Sarah J Maas trash. But if Rhysand isn’t the biggest drama queen you have ever met than you must be yet to meet him! That boy’s love for dramatic entrances/ reveals alone is enough to give him the crown! hahaha.

ACOMAF

Animated: A book with cartoons on the cover.

I don’t really own any books with what I would call cartoons on the cover. But I guess the Harry Potter books I own kind of do? They are illustrated at least. Does that count?

Watch it Again: A book or series that you want to re-read.

I have said it before and I will say it again. I am a huge re-reader I love to reread my favourites all the time! And Love to re-read just before a new instalment in a series comes out. I have had the urge recently to reread the Throne of glass series by Sarah J Maas. However I want to wait till closer to the release of the final book even though I am yet to read Assassin’s Blade or Tower of Dawn.

sjm

Documentaries: A non-fiction book you’d recommend to everyone.

I am not going to lie I very rarely read non-fiction books. I mostly read to escape or relax so non-fiction isn’t really my thing. I will say I did really enjoy Lauren Graham’s book: From Gilmore girls to Gilmore girls talking as fast as I can.

Action Adventure: An action packed book.

Despite most fantasy books being packed full of some kind of action. The first book that came to mind for this is definitely Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. The fights, the scheming, the plotting, the violence. Just everything about the dregs LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

SOC

New Releases: A book that just came out, or will be coming out soon, that you can’t wait to read.

My mind is almost completely blank right now on new releases that are coming out! I know of some later this year into early next year that I am very excited for. But have been so busy lately I haven’t really kept track of ones coming out soon! I will say I am excited for One small thing by Erin Watt. It comes out June 18th. As although I read mostly fantasy I absolutely loved When its real and read it in almost one siting! And this sounds like another All the feels young love story. ❤divider 1

Book Tag: 20 Questions

Hi there blogging world! Today I have another tag for you all! I was tagged by the lovely girls (Ash & Lo) at Windowsill books to do the 20 questions books tag. The original creator of this tag was not mentioned so if you know, please let me know!

So this tag works basically like the 20 questions game I am sure we have all played at some point. But this is the bookish version! So without further ado here are my answers:

HOW MANY BOOKS IS TOO MANY BOOKS IN A SERIES?

For me this depends on how much I like said world and characters. If I love something I can’t get enough of it and I want to spend as much time as possible with that world and characters! However I do own a book series that is about 15 books long and no matter how much I love the story I have not been able to finish it yet. So maybe anything longer than 8 books would be too long for me.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CLIFFHANGERS?

I have a love hate relationship with them. I think they are great at making you feel all the feels and propelling the story onwards. But if I don’t have the next book available the wait to see if my babies are ok is torture!

HARDBACK OR PAPERBACK?

Although hardbacks look better. They are way more expensive and actually harder to get in Australia. I also think they are more cumbersome to read. So paperback all the way (I mean have you seen my blog name? haha).

FAVOURITE BOOK?

I can not choose and you will not make me!! But seriously how do people actually choose just one?!

LEAST FAVOURITE BOOK?

This one is also really hard as most of the books I own I really enjoyed at some point in my life. So I just picked the one on my shelf that I have read and remember the least about!  The Summoning by Kelly Armstrong, something about kids with powers? Bringing the dead to life? I do remember enjoying it when I read it I just can’t remember much about it and have no desire to reread it soon. :/

LOVE TRIANGLES, YES OR NO?

Mainly yes. If they are done well. Although I am not going to lie I do get sucked into them picking a team and hoping to hell that the other ‘love’ interest just leaves already! 😉

THE MOST RECENT BOOK YOU JUST COULDN’T FINISH?

I very rarely DNF books. So I don’t think I have had a book I couldn’t finish recently. 🙂

A BOOK YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?

I am still actually finishing up my re-read of ACOWAR as I have been in a bit of a slump. I have no idea what to read next! 😦

LAST BOOK YOU RECOMMENDED TO SOMEONE?

I can’t remember! I know I have said that The Cruel prince by Holly Black was great a number of times recently! And I am always telling people to give ACOTAR a go.

OLDEST BOOK YOU’VE READ? *PUBLICATION DATE*

Probably The great Gatsby or the Bible although I have not actually ever finished either cover to cover. I do intend to one day finish Gatsby though!

NEWEST BOOK YOU’VE READ? *PUBLICATION DATE*

I don’t have the money for new books at the moment so I think the most recent one I purchased and finished was The Cruel Prince by Holly Black.

FAVOURITE AUTHOR?

I love so many Authors for so many different reasons! But two of my favourites who are pretty much auto buy authors for me are Sarah J Maas and Jay Kristoff. ❤

BUYING BOOKS OR BORROWING BOOKS?

Buying!! When I have money to do so! That way they are mine, part of my collection and if I don’t want to I don’t ever have to give them back! Plus some borrowing books are just gross like where has that book been?!

A BOOK YOU DISLIKE THAT EVERYONE ELSE SEEM TO LOVE?

Not that I necessarily disliked it, like I did enjoy most of it just nowhere near as much as the rest of Cassie’s books. But Lady Midnight. Please don’t hate me! It just took me 3 shots to finish and although I enjoyed the ending I still haven’t picked up the next book.

BOOKMARKS OR DOG-EARS?

Bookmarks 110% of the time! I don’t like to damage my books in any way. Plus bookmarks are just so pretty! I will only dog ear magazines and books that are already damaged beyond repair.

A BOOK YOU CAN ALWAYS REREAD?

Any book I loved/ liked? I am a big re-reader! New book in a series coming out? Reread! No money for new books? Reread! Want to feel all the nostalgic emotions? Reread! In a slump? Reread!

CAN YOU READ WHILE HEARING MUSIC?

No, if I notice that it’s on while I am reading it’s like my brain short circuits and can’t do anything else but hear the words of the song!

ONE POV OR MULTIPLE POV’S?

I enjoy both! One is good if you love that main character but if you do not multiple is good to get away from them.

DO YOU READ A BOOK IN ONE SITTING OR OVER MULTIPLE DAYS?

I am compared to what seems like most people in the book community a pretty slow reader. So I can almost never finish a book in one sitting. But there has been times where I have done basically nothing but read for days to get through a book as I can’t put it down!

A BOOK YOU’VE READ BECAUSE OF THE COVER?

The amount of cover buys I have had over the years is astounding! Off the top of my head the only one I can think of right now is The raven boys. I brought originally because of the cover! They are just stunning though so can you blame me?! ❤

I Tag:

Review: The Princess saves herself in this one, by Amanda Lovelace

price

Title: The princess saves herself in this one

Author: Amanda Lovelace

Released: 2017

Publisher: Andrews McMeel publishing

Genre: Poetry

Rating: 3.5/5

Review2

I feel this review may end up being very similar to the one I did for Milk and Honey which you can find here.  As after reading it I have many of the same feelings and reasons why I personally could not give this collection a higher rating.

So firstly I will begin by saying that despite the awesome title this is not a light hearted collection by any stretch of the imagination. Lovelace in this poetry collection explores and delves into some pretty heavy and even dark themes, which obviously appear to stem mainly from personal experiences she has had. Now these sections and poems are the parts that I personally could not connect to. This is not to say that they were not well written or emotive. Because they were. I definitely felt many emotions while reading them. It’s just that fortunately I have not experienced these situations or similar ones. So for that reason I could not relate or connect to the story being told in the beginning of the collection.  I do however commend Lovelace for being able to put herself out there/ expose her past demons so thoroughly and personally show that amount of strength in turning those experiences into this collection.

The later part of the collection I did rather enjoy and found I could connect to a lot more of the poems. I found the last section titled: You  to be mostly positive, very empowering and full of self-love messages. This is something I can get behind and something I think needs to be spread around more. I will say a lot of the self-love/ fuck what anybody else thinks poems were exactly what I needed to hear and I connected with these the most.

A few of my favourite poems from the collection were:

  • Millennials
  • What they don’t want you to know
  • Use those fragments to make stepping-stones to your own self love
  • Women are some kind of magic
  • This life is still worth living
  • Don’t allow the world to take your kindness
  • Love is never a weakness
  • Yourself
  • I believe in you

There were quite a number of others that I also enjoyed throughout the collection or that stuck a cord with me regardless of the themes. I also loved the dedication at the beginning and the Pending at the end. Lastly I just generally liked how the collection was set out as a whole.

In conclusion I gave this collection of Poetry a solid 3.5/5. As it was in my opinion a well written, put together and emotive poetry collection. However for the most part I was unable to fully connect and relate to too many of the themes due to my own personal life experiences. It should be noted that I am also not the biggest fan of poetry in general. Let's Chat!

Are you a big poetry reader? Or do you struggle to relate to poetry content? Have you read this collection? What did you think? Happy reading and watching, Signature

Blog:

So considering I finally found my passion and motivation and my way back to blogging after a completely unannounced, unplanned hiatus. I would say this is a pretty good blogging month! I would just like to say thank you to so many of you for welcoming me back with open arms it feels like I never left. I do truly love this little community and all that we represent.

Since coming back I managed to post 4 posts, all of which I am pretty happy with. If I had to pick a favourite for the month though it would be my review of A quiet place. It just has all the emotions while remaining spoiler free!

Life:

There really haven’t been any big life events this month. I love that I feel more passionate again about my hobbies, reading, blogging, bookstagram. The only major thing that is happening at the moment is I am busy planning my wedding! We are down to about 9 months out now so everything has finally started moving and we have a solid vision. We met with our wedding planner the other weekend she is so awesome and helps me organise everything and really focus on what we want. Which for someone who is prone to stressing as much as me is such a good thing. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out and to marry the man of my dreams. Anyways other than that it is pretty much work, home, sleep and repeat haha.

Goals for May:

I think since I just got back into all this I am going to try to keep these relatively simple. They are a mix between blogging, reading and life goals.

  • Read at least 4 books.
  • Post a blog at least 1-2 times a week.
  • Do/ plan more review posts.
  • Comment more on other blogs/ bookstagrams & interact more in general.
  • Set in stone more stuff for the wedding!
  • Try to stress less and relax more.

Book Shelf tour

Hello everyone so today I thought I would do another fun little post instead of a review. I have seen many of these around book blogs, booktube and bookstagram but Michaela from Journey into books is the most recent one I have seen. I thought it was cool to see an insight into her book world and decided to let you all have a little look into mine.

Before I begin apologies for the quality of some of the picture it was a mostly cloudy, & rainy day when I took them. 😦 Great reading weather but unfortunately not great for pictures!

This is my book room, library, reading spot and study. I love it and it was a must for me when I finally got my own house.

Shelf 1: Sarah J Maas

SJM

This is one of my favourite shelves in my room. I think it’s so pretty and it hosts possibly my favourite books! It does however annoy me that ACOWAR is not the matching paperback. But I just had to have this edition and one day hope to own them all in both paperback and hardback! As for the TOG series I am yet to read Assassins blade or TOD!  This also features my Uni graduation teddy from my Nana. My favourite Disney princess gifted to me by my fiance and my read and wonder magnetic bookmarks. Just look at my little inner circle and Mia and Tric 🙂

Shelf 2: Casandra Clare & Jay Kristoff

cassie claire

Underneath my Maas shelf is my Cassie Clare and Mr. Kristoff shelf. What’s that? Does the fact that the first three Mortal instruments books aren’t the same size as the others bother you? Yes! Yes it bloody does why do they do this? I will note that I also own the last TMI book as an e-book. This shelf also holds my Nevernight themed candle and lip balm. Bonus content there are actually 3 books on this shelf that I have not got around to reading yet!

Shelf 3: Mead, Shannon & Stiefvater

mead

Next on this bookcase is this shelf. Mead is one of the first authors I ever fell in love with and VA is one of my first loved fandoms. This shelf also contains The Bone Season series, where different length books strike again! 😦  As well as my Raven cycle books. The decor for this shelf is my TOG Dorian and Manon inspired candles and my Nevernight Mia print.

Shelf 4: The Morganville Vampires & Random

m vampires

The Morganville vampires by Rachel Cain is the longest series I own and contains one of the only signed books I own. As you can also see I have a few books from different series here also that I have mostly read but never continued with for one reason or another. Here I also have a Loki Print ❤ and my TOG Rowan inspired candle.

Printer shelf

As this room doubles as a study my printer is here to. This also features some of my bookmarks and my wind mill collection 🙂

Cube 1

top 4

My first cube shelf is mostly a space for the many books surely to come! However currently it holds my Harley print ❤ some science themed decor. And a mixture of random series and standalone books. One of these is another signed one of mine!

Cube 2

bottom 4

My second cube contains most of my newer purchases and or gifted books as well as again some older random parts of series and standalone’s. It also contains most of my contemporary reads.

Shelf 5: Twilight & dystopian/random

twilight

Confession time, the Twilight series was what got me into/ addicted to reading. Before these, sixteen year old me hated reading, didn’t understand how people could do it for fun or read something that big! hahaha omg thank goodness I came to my senses!

Shelf 6: Mostly Adult fiction/erotica & some paranormal

grey

Can I just say that I love that this whole shelf nearly consists of books of all the same height. How aesthetically pleasing is that! Also Blood rights is a series I found very interesting and creative but hear very little about!

Shelf 7: Harry Potter & random

HP

Yes my harry Potter series is miss matched, I know but my Nana brought the hardbacks for me back when they were released before I even fell in love with reading hence why one is missing a dust jacket. My amazing Slytherin edition is also there! Decor features yet another Loki print ❤ and a Godsgrave card.

Shelf 8: Random & self-help?

rando

This is probably my least favourite shelf it contains many random books I have been gifted or brought on a whim. Also here is a really cool postcard I picked up and the bookends I have had since I was a baby! And that’s a wrap! Let's Chat!

Do you see any of your favourites? How do you organise your shelves? Have you done a bookcase tour? Let me know below! Much Love,

WWW Wednesday, 23-Aug-2017

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. To participate and see others responses check out her blog by clicking here.

This is my first ever WWW Wednesday! I wanted to participate as a way to offer you guys more regular content as well as keep you up to date on what I am reading these days. So here we go.

The three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading: So for the past couple of weeks I have been reading Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. I have made big progress on this book and actually only have 2 or 3 of the individual stories left to read before I finish it. I do plan to write a review on this book when I finish it just like I want to try and do with every book I read. However here are a few of my current thoughts:

  • I love Norse Mythology in general so learning more about it through Gaiman’s portrayal has been great fun.
  • I love Loki he is amazingly awesome! (And misguided.)
  • That cover is beyond beautiful I mean look at it!
  • Overall really enjoying this read however the way it is set out is annoying me and making it hard to get through.

I hope to be finished this read by the end of this week and hopefully can have my full review up by the end of next week to give you all my thoughts and final opinion.

Recently Finished: The book I finished before starting Norse Mythology was actually a collection of poetry called Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. I smashed this out in less than one day! It is very easy to read and well set out. I am hoping to have the review with my in depth thoughts and feelings up by the end of this week. But again here are a few quick points:

  • I love the simplistic beauty of this cover (those bees are so cute!)
  • This is a very quick and easy read.
  • I found a lot of the content hard to relate to.
  • However all of the writing is beautiful and some poems made me stop and think and just wow.

So to sum up this is a quick and easy read but not all of it related to me. Keep an eye out for my review!

Next up:  Now this section is a little trickier for me at the moment I am having such mixed feelings about what to read next! Firstly with the release of the synopsis for the new novella/ short story and many bookstagramers talking about it at the moment. I have a strong urge to re-read the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas. Like I can hear the books from here screaming at me to take them off my bookshelf and read them right this instant! haha but seriously I love this series and will happily re-read it for what will be the third time. I mean the plot the characters oh the characters! My babies! Feysand is like my biggest OTP and one can never get enough Rhysand in your life! He is the ultimate of book boyfriends! I don’t care what anyone says fight me on this!

On the other hand though I have many books on my bookshelf that I am yet to read as well as more that should arrive any day now from Book Depository. These include the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and the Assassins Blade by Sarah J. Maas.  I am loving the Outlander TV show at the moment so I am excited to delve into the books that started it all. Also I only read the Grisha trilogy for the first time last month and loved it so really want to read Six of Crows. Altogether though I have many great reads lined up! I have a feeling ACOTAR will win but hey I tend to read whatever I am in the mood for at that time, so I may surprise you!

Have you read any of these great books? What are you currently reading and plan to read next? What do you think I should read next? Let me know in the comments below! Until next time happy reading and watching.
